rise-and-falling
sweeping and swirling down to the ground
and the trees they concealed are starting to show

while up on high the wild geese do cry
and the reds of the fields are a glorious sight
their stubble like steel in the sparkling light
as we walk through the world ...
and wasn’t it summer an hour ago?
